The Process

It's quite a complex process, so I'll try not to bore you with too many details. Essentially I sketch, then paint my dudes and dudettes. Most of them end up in the reject pile, but every now and then I strike gold and get it just right!

These dudes and dudettes are then scanned and put into a print page to send to a specialist in Melbourne who prints the designs onto special 'glass' paper. The designs are then applied to durable porcelain pieces, then a 'rim' is added to the top and finally they are fired one last time before I bring them here to you.
